What are the impacts of resource extraction on women?
Kairos is releasing a series of short videos to help us all better understand the gendered impacts of resource extraction. These three minute videos look at the the specific impacts that women, and especially indigenous women, face when they are threatened by resource extraction in their territory. Loss of land often results in loss of identity and culture and the social and economic impacts of mining have a unique role on women and families. Check out the videos and share
